HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR VOICE?
I guess that you’ve heard many times that the worst thing for the voice is
coffee*** or cigarettes, but... it is only drop in the ocean. I will show you 10
ways how to take care of your voice better. Let’s go!
1. Do not
smoke cigarettes because tobacco smoke can irritate the vocal cords and dry
them.
2. Do not
drink alcohol for it dilates blood vessels of vocal folds and makes them swollen.
3.
You should
avoid air conditioning because dry air dries the mucosa.
4.
Do not sing
and speak when you have a sore throat.
5. Drink plenty of water at room temperature for it is very
important to take care of hydration of our body! Dehydration harms!
6. Ensure that
you achieve the right humidity in the room where you are.
7.
Avoid speaking
and singing in the cold!
8.
Ensure to
your body sufficient rest and relax during the day.
9. Take a
break after vocal effort! Your vocal cords should have some time to regenerate.
10.
Warm up
your voice every day after waking up.
